30th Anniversary


This week end I attended the 30th anniversary celebration of the University of Illinois Doctoral Program. Attached is a picture of several events for the weekend. Linda Smith was honored with a named endowment, the Linda Smith Doctoral Student Endowment. Recent grads are encouraged to donate money to this endowment to support future the education of future professionals in our field.

Bishop Hill Spin In 2008

Today Dave and I and our new friend, Robyn, attended the Bishop Hill Spin-in in Kewanee, Illinois. One of the cutist fiber art pieces was a little mouse.


At the Spin-in Jo Sanders won first prize for her tapestry.


On the way home we stopped by to see the Halloween display in Good Hope...a must see!!!!!

Heritage Days

In the afternoon Linnea and Phyllis go to the country to pick cherries and mulberries. We end the day with a cherry/mulberry pie. It was delicious.
